How about a total look made of Latvian designer brands? I wouldn’t mind. And you? So, somehow I managed to create this very outfit which is based on 3 Latvian brands – NOLO, VASKALA and INCH2. About INCH2 we already talked about in one of the previous Outfit-stories, which is QooQoo + INCH2. So make sure to check that story out, maybe even once again.
So today let’s, maybe, talk about NOLO brand. NOLO was founded back in 2012 by Viktorija Joniene, who is the creative mind of the brand. What’s so interesting about this brand is the fact that they actually follow all the current trends and issues that are seen in social media. And they use these points in brand’s runway shows.
Another important point about NOLO, is the fact that their items are quite simple but with interesting twists. For example, let’s take the dress from today’s visual story. It’s a pretty simple dress in the style of 1970’s and 1980’s, but pay attention to detailing on the sleeves and the shoulders. To be honest, I can’t really denitrify what’s the material of the detailing, but to me it seems like some fur kind of thing.
What I did with the dress is that I just added rude kind of footwear to it and a belt bag in interesting shape. Plus, here I decided to play a little bit around different colours – greyish-blue, cocoa-brown and beige-and-black. In my opinion, the outfit turned to be quite simple yet eye-catchy.
