Won’t lie, switching for Chanel perfumes is pretty much a surprise for my own self. And if Coco Mademoiselle is something that I have tried before – as far as I remember I had this scent back in school days for some period and really liked it – then No 5 is a total discovery.
Now have to say that these two scents are absolute opposites to each other. If Coco Mademoiselle is super light and more young, then No 5 is quite a strong scent and more old, so to say. Will be honest, in my memory the No 5 perfume has been associating with my grandmother, as I remember that back in 1990s she was using this scent.
And for many, many years I have had this association that the No 5 is suitable for much older women. But time goes by and things change, perfumes and even our attitude towards it change. So this Spring I discovered this legendary scent for myself and am now using it much more often than Coco Mademoiselle, which, in turn, I decided to keep for Summer season.
