My motto for this year, and probably this decade, is to jump into experiences that I haven’t gone through so far or experience to which I would previously say ‘no’. And this motto is meant to be applied, in first place, to fashion of course. But as most of my latest fashion experiences and re-experiences got cancelled and as I’m staying at home most of the time these days, I’ve decided to jump into different sort of discoveries.
For example, the beauty related one. And one of my latest and pretty interesting discovery is about our local beauty brand called Madara. What attracted my attention in terms of this brand is the packaging in first place. I saw some posts and stories on Instagram of Latvian girls talking about Madara products, so I’ve decided to test this brand myself.
Now, I won’t be talking about each and every product in details. Will simply say that my favourites so far are the shampoo and the conditioner, as the result has been noticeable almost straightaway. I can’t get enough of that shine that I have on my hair, seriously!
Speaking of face and eye creams, it’s quite hard for me to evaluate its effect so far. Okay, in general I see that cream does blur imperfections that I usually tend to hide by means of tons of foundation and concealer, though now I can apply both of these in much smaller portions. When it comes to the eye cream, it’s even harder to evaluate it as I have little scars in the outer corners of my eyes (I fell two times on a table back in early childhood), so I can’t say whether I have wrinkles out there and the cream affected it or not.
Finally, the lip balm. Here I would say that I’m not satisfied with the product yet. As I haven’t felt any nourishing effect so far. So for me this product is under quite a big question. Though, overall I’m pretty much satisfied with this range of products that I have in my Beauty-box at the moment. And am thinking of getting myself few more other products. But it, I guess, will be a different story.
